Last But Not Least on Jarvis-

By George Collective was brought in to a home on Jarvis Bay Drive as the designers on a redevelopment. This was our first project near my home town of Alberta. The home has an exceptional location as the last house on the block bordered by a bird sanctuary and across the street from Alberta's warmest lake, Sylvan Lake. While the home was completely gutted and the floor plan reworked, we played into the original mid century meets Tudor style. We moved the kitchen to the upper floor and incorporated white oak custom cabinetry, fluted millwork, an arched range hood and a breakfast bar to take in the lakeside views. We repurposed the original kitchen into a bar and added a wine cellar with a custom fabricated steel door. While the project ultimately had many setbacks with Covid and swamped contractors, we got back our timeline on the sale as it sold in 3 days over ask.
